This recently converted “summer house” is surprisingly spacious, sunny and bright!

Adjoining the owners’ house and beautifully flanked by gardens bursting with flowers, shrubs, beautiful mature olive trees, almond trees, ripe fig-trees, orange and the amazing scent of orange blossom, bright, joyful bougainvillea, intoxicating jasmine – The English owners do certainly know how to create a beautiful, lush, welcoming garden – whatever the time of year it will delight you.

From the entrance gate and gravel parking area – walk along the garden path, with a pretty fountain,  passed the owners entrance, under the ancient olive tree and up to a pleasant sun terrace – Furnished with table and chairs this is the perfect spot for alfresco meals and socials in general.

Glass doors open from the terrace into the open-plan kitchen/living and dining room – A recent addition, this room has been designed to be the hub of the house and has a pleasant communal feel to it. Decorated in light colours, with large casement windows along the exterior wall, the sitting area has a white sofa and chairs, a large TV, the dining area features a large table that comfortably seats eight. A kitchen bar, with two stools, divides the well equipped and cleverly designed kitchen off from the rest of the room – and give extra work surface if needed.

From this room two doors lead off, each leading to a large, L shaped bedroom suite. Each bedroom with one double and two single beds, each with a curtained area for privacy and each with en suite bathrooms.

A relaxing place to just “be”

And ideal for day trips to the beaches of the Costa Tropical, only half an hour's drive away, as are the villages of the Alpujarras. Granada and the Alhambra are an easy 40 minutes drive.

Suite Nº1 has access to the bright sun room with large windows and a glass door to the front of the house and down to the pool
Suite Nº2 has a wood-burning stove for winter nights and French doors onto a large, private back garden, with various patio areas ideal for reading, resting, relaxing, sunbathing or just enjoying the quiet nature all around.
The 3rd bedroom is a smaller double, it is accessed from the sun room and is next door to the house bathroom.

The house throughout is comfortable, cheerful and unfussy. Decorated with a mixture of modern and antique furniture, Moroccan, Spanish, and Northern touches, the overall feel is a warm and inviting place to stay. Ideal for  families, groups of friends or anyone wanting to enjoy the best of rural Andalucia.

The irresistible, south facing, swimming pool (9m x 4.5m).Set a short distance from the house, down a few wide steps, a lovely sunny terrace complete with loungers, chairs, table and surrounded by lush vegetation offering plenty of shade. Perfect for relaxing in the sun, or in the shade of the generous old olive tree, while enjoying a good book or simply admiring the sweeping views across the valley to the mountains beyond.

This is a very relaxing place to just “be”, but if you do want to venture beyond its boundaries there are many wonderful places to visit – The Mediterranean beaches are just a 30 minutes drive south. The southern slopes of Sierra Nevada, Las Alpujarras, less than 30 minutes away, offering amazing walking, horse riding, mountain biking. Its a nature lovers paradise! Granada, and the Alhambra, is a 40 minute drive away. And, of course, there are lovely walks from just outside your door…..

The owners live on site, in a private annex next door. They take every care to ensure that guests enjoy total privacy of the pool, grounds and house.  If you need them, they are always happy to help.

There is a fenced area to the side of the property where the owners’ pet dogs are kept.
