Two Bedroom Cottage and Shared Pool_AL29_04_a

Standing alone on the far side of the swimming pool, a short distance from the other properties, this is the most independent of the three cottages.

One enters this charming two bedroom, two bathroom house from a covered porch area furnished with a table and chair for al fresco dining. A beautiful orange tree gives a little extra shade, as does the grape vine that covers the outer porch.

It’s a perfect place for a meal, a sun-downer or just a “cuppa” at any time of day or night. It’s also a perfect spot to relax out of the hot sun, while keeping an eye on the children splashing about in the pool.

The floors are traditional terracotta tiles and wood is a main feature throughout the house. The fireplace mantel in the living room is a robust beam that emphasizes the irregular shapes and natural character of the wood, the stairway leading upstairs is framed by two large wooden columns.

Moonlit nights and sun-filled days

While basking in the sunshine is what holidays are all about, the night time stars are unforgettable.

Entering through the panoramic-door, once inside the ground floor, is one large open L-shaped space. The kitchen is on the left and the living room on the right.

The many windows in the cottage fill the space with sunlight and the walls are painted in a warm ochre colour that adds to the pleasant ambience.

In the kitchen area there is a dining table and chairs and the living room is furnished with a comfy sofa and a lovely rocking chair for cosy winter evenings by the fire. There is a TV, a selection of books and some board games.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master double bedroom has an en suite shower room and a step up to a sunny, private, furnished terrace enjoying superb views.

This is a wonderful place to take in the landscape of the village below and the dramatic mountain scenery all around.

The second bedroom is a twin and the full bathroom (shower over a bathtub), is just opposite. The decoration throughout is a pleasant mix of rustic and modern. While the location is so convenient for town amenities and eating out, the cottage is a restful place, perfectly equipped for an enjoyable holiday.

 Property Information

This cottage shares the grounds and pool with AL30 and AL31.

Bookings at this property usually run from Saturday to Saturday but please ask about flexibility outside of high season.

The shared pool is open all year but as it is not heated the swimming pool season is from late April to late September.

Please, no smoking in the house.

Pets may be accepted, please ask. Dangerous dogs breeds are not welcome.
