Dramatic scenery and rural peace

For over 200 years this farmhouse has presided over this outstanding landscape.

Fully restored and refurbished, this farmhouse is a glorious five-bedroom holiday retreat. The beautiful and dramatic scenery of Grazalema Natural Park surrounds the house on all sides. Ideal for couples, families or just a group of friends — for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. This is truly a paradise for walkers, naturalists, bird-watchers, botanists and sun worshippers!

The original, traditional, L-shaped structure remains. Built on two floors, the interiors are all new. One enters into a nicely furnished entrance hall and through to a spacious high-ceilinged living room and open plan kitchen. The kitchen is spacious, modern and adequately equipped.
There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, both double bedded, sharing a bathroom.

The remaining three bedrooms are upstairs. The master double is the most spacious and has a lovely big window looking out over the pool area. The other two bedrooms, one single/child and one twin, are both quite compact and under a sloping roof. These three bedrooms share the upstairs bathroom (shower, no bath).

Although this property can cater for up to nine people we consider it more suitable for a maximum of six adults and one child.

Outside there is a covered, furnished patio at the front of the house. To the side is a lovely little swimming pool (6m x 4m) – large enough for a refreshing dip in the cool mountain water before basking in the sun on the sun terrace. Then relax, under the shade of one of the hundred-year-old olive trees, taking in the fabulous views in every direction.

What do guests say about this villa?

Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise. The house is beautifully appointed and we spent many happy hours by the pool. We were spoilt by the number of excursions in the area. Our favourites included exploring the 40.000 year old cave paintings by lamp light (Cueva de la Pileta) and the Roman ruins at Acinipo.

Jacky and Adam (October 2018)

A beautiful and stylish house in a truly stunning position. We were made so welcome and nothing was too much trouble fro our wonderful hosts. Muchas gracias, we will see you again soon.

Paul and Ruth (September 2018)

We have had a brilliant week. Lovely villa and surroundings, fantastic views and wildlife. Saw 4 ibex drinking at the pool, wild boars/pigs eating under the trees. Have visited some great places and seen some of the real Spain. Great hosts, so friendly and welcoming, beautiful villa, sad to be leaving, want to come back already!

Jon and Layla (September 2018)

We don’t want to leave this beautiful place. We have had a wonderful and unforgettable week. We will be back! Thank you.

More about this region

Los Pueblos Blancos

The region of 'the white villages' is located inland halfway between Marbella and Sevilla in the province of Cádiz. These whitewashed villages were built on hills for safety during times of medieval unrest. Today we're left with peaceful, pretty towns all with breathtaking views of peaks, gorges and lush green pastures. This friendly, uncrowded region offers a different experience from the coast and usual tourist sites.
