This handsome olive mill has been beautifully converted into seven splendorous, self-contained apartments. Each apartment has access to the communal pool area, most have the same uninterrupted views down to the mountains to Gibraltar, the Mediterranean and across to Morocco. All the apartments are suitable for summer or winter – and, each one totally individual and uniquely decorated.
There are two one-bedroom apartments, three with two- bedrooms, one three-bedroom and one four-bedroom. Every apartment is tastefully furnished with a mix of Andaluz, English and Moroccan touches. Whitewashed walls, warm terracotta floor tiles, bright textiles, beautiful rugs and hand painted tiles combine with style. Connected by corridors, terraces and patios, the property can also be rented in its entirety, sleeping up to 30 people.
Beautifully furnished inside and out – with all home comforts, the old mill has thick walls that keep the apartments surprisingly cool in the hot summer and nice and warm in the winter months. Much of the mill’s original machinery is still in place, the original olive press and huge grinding stone give a true sense of the history of this wonderful setting.

Each apartment is designed to offer maximum comfort, privacy and tranquillity. Each has satellite TV and a DVD player, there is WiFi throughout. Downstairs by the pool area there is a well stocked library and reading area also offering a wide selection of DVDs and board games. Altogether it’s a beautiful haven of calm and peace.
The wonderful 11 metre pool is set in a walled courtyard below the main house. It is a lovely sheltered spot that gets full sun throughout most of the day. There are sun loungers, deck chairs, white canvas sail shades and parasols, and potted plants to add a touch of greenery. You might find it hard to drag yourself away from this enchanting setting!
Gaucín is a village of evident and stunning history, perched on the crest of the Sierra del Hacho, looking south across the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and to the Rif mountains of North Africa. Its steep winding streets, hidden alley-ways and spectacular views will enchant you. You will be sure to find a great deal to enjoy and delight you in this part of authentic Andalucía. Gaucín’s location is also ideally placed for day trips to historic cities: Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Malaga … and beautiful Ronda is only 45 minutes away.

The largest and most luxurious of the apartments. Spread over four floors, with four bedrooms, sleeping up to 8 people, it is a dream! Decorated in predominantly white and neutral shades it exudes elegance and resplendence.
Entering into a large entrance hall directly from the street you are immediately aware of a sense of extra special perfection! On the entrance level there is a lovely, spacious, white double/twin master bedroom, an attractive en suite bathroom, a dressing area and floor to ceiling windows with Juliette balcony from where to enjoy the awesome views.
The other three bedrooms are on the lower ground floor – one double with ensuite shower room, one king-size and a second, smaller twin (more suitable for the children of the family) sharing a full bathroom. The two main bedrooms downstairs both have private terraces with access to the pool area.
From the entrance hall a stairway leads up to the main living area – a sensational open plan kitchen, living and dining room – It really is splendid! Light, white, sophisticated and modern, it has it all. Comfy plush sofas, a fireplace, a grand dining table, a kitchen equipped with everything you could wish for. All this bathed in the light and views through the wall of glass (plus balcony) that runs the full length of the room.
One more flight of stairs takes you up to the equally splendid roof terrace. It is heavenly!
Partly covered, a seating area with inviting white cushions, a dining table for all your alfresco meals – a large gas BBQ. This sublime sun terrace with sun loungers and comfy chairs, together with the best views in town, is simply perfection – nothing will drag you away from here!
