Surrounded by stunning countryside there is something for everyone

The region is teeming with history and culture

This fully restored ancient farmhouse is built on a terraced hillside with views across the valley to the famous town of Ronda.

It provides a great location for those who wish to enjoy peaceful and unspoiled yet interesting surroundings in great comfort. As you drive into the grounds you cannot help feeling a sense of excitement: you’re arriving at a glorious space surrounded by vines, olives, figs, majestic palm trees and ultimately your magnificent holiday home. It is difficult not to be amazed by the setting and the impressive, far reaching views towards Ronda.

The house is surrounded by five acres of terraced gardens and orchards, its enormous infinity pool highlighting the stunning landscape. The glimmering 13-metre pool lies just below the house, sculpted into the ground and surrounded by stone terracing.

With a glorious infinity pool, stunning views and magical atmosphere,

guests can be guaranteed to fall in love with such a special place

From the pool area one can enjoy endless panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. There are loungers, hammocks, gazebos, umbrellas all amid soothing greenery. This is a dream spot for relaxing in the midday sun with a good book and a glass of chilled vino.

A glorious home, perfect for gatherings of family and friends, the villa is ideally situated just 20 minutes’ drive from Ronda and all it has to offer. Exquisitely converted from an original Andalucian farmhouse and its outbuildings, it now provides comfortable, luxury accommodation for up to 14 guests in seven splendid double/twin en suite bedrooms, each with privacy and its own portion of terrace.

The main house consists of two bedrooms (both en suite), living room, dining hall, kitchen, laundry and guest cloakroom. The splendid double height entrance/dining hall is the heart of the main house. It has two sweeping staircases – one leads to an upstairs galleried drawing room, a tranquil space with comfy sofas and chairs, wonderful views and an open fireplace for the cooler nights. The other staircase leads to the most gorgeous master bedroom, complete with a small antechamber with daybed, a roll top bath within the room and stunning views in all directions. With French doors leading to a bridge across to the back garden and the smaller of the two swimming pools, it really does not get much better than this.

On the ground floor, adjacent to the dining room, is the amazing state-of-the-art, want-for-nothing kitchen! It’s equipped to please even the most critical of guests. This area is the social hub of the house and here guests will love gathering together to create mouth-watering meals and long lasting memories.

On the opposite side of the entrance hall is the second bedroom. This bedroom is a beautiful, large double room with full en suite bathroom and doors opening on to the terraces. Behind the kitchen is the laundry room and the guest WC.

All the outbuildings are within a few metres of each other. The first offers two bedrooms (a double en suite and a twin bedroom with an adjacent shower room), a games room with pool table, table football, table tennis, a home cinema, a fully equipped kitchen and a covered dining terrace. Three remaining en suite bedrooms are in annexes across the cobbled courtyard –they all have their own separate entrances. Restful and comfortable, all the rooms share the same tasteful decor: white walls, light grey shutters, terracotta tiled floors softened with warm rugs and an authentic charm all of their own.

And Yolanda is a gem! She is delightful and was wonderful offering excellent suggestions and making reservations for us. We really enjoyed her. Thank you for sharing your very special place with us. It was indeed a treasure.

We enjoyed immensely your beautiful and comfortable home. We visit somewhere with wonderful friends, and this proved a wonderful venue to catch up reminisce, and most importantly, laugh!! It was nice the space out to see all the sites this area has to offer, but nicer still to come “home” each day. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

More about this region

Ronda and Mountains

Ronda and its surrounding landscape has all that is symbolic of Andalucía—the land of passion, literary inspiration, bullfighting and romantic bandit stories. Its famous Puente Nuevo bridge, spanning El Tajo gorge, is unforgettable. Ronda is a magnificent city with a rich culture and history but this region also offers beautiful countryside, picturesque white villages like Gaucín, and the sea which is near enough for a day at the beach.
