The quality and style of the house is stunning!

With all creature comforts, a sense of simple luxury and an irresistible plunge pool.

This unique recently renovated, three bedroom townhouse is in the centre of the village of Chite, a small and still very authentic rural village. Almost equidistant from Granada and the Mediterranean coast, this is an excellent location from which to explore the treasures of Granada, the Mediterranean coast, the Sierra Nevada Mountains or stroll out of your door into the beautiful Lecrín Valley,

From the street one enters into an ample hall, incorporating a library and reading area, with access to the three well furnished, spacious double bedrooms, each room with its own en suite shower room. Two of the rooms can be made up as twins.

The quality and style of the house are stunning! The perfect mixture of Andalucian architecture and Nordic light and sophistication creates an amazingly handsome home that provides all creature comforts, and a sense of simple luxury, from the moment you walk through the front door.

From the hall, a sculptural staircase winds up to the first floor. The entire floor is one huge room, kitchen, living room and dining area. The space is sensational with high ceilings and a numerous amount of french doors, windows and balconies on all sides, flooding it with Andalucian sunshine and light. The kitchen is out of this world, it’s first-rate for style, design and convenience. The beautiful tiles, carefully selected ceramics and brass pots contrast nicely with the smart modernity of the kitchen fittings.

The work surfaces and kitchen isle are thoughtfully arranged so all the appliances are to hand when preparing food.

From the upstairs room, french doors open onto the fabulous roof terrace, furnished for relaxing and enjoying, there are rattan armchairs, coffee tables, sun loungers, flowerbeds and potted plants…and an irresistible plunge pool. With bench seating, just under the water, here you can sit with a glass and watch the sunset over the patchwork of fields, orange and lemon groves to the hills and mountains that rise across the horizon. The views from here are phenomenal.

The Lecrín Valley is an area of true natural beauty, for those who like to enjoy a more peaceful side of Andalucian rural life – Orchards heavily laden with oranges, lemons, medlars, pomegranates, persimmons, almonds, olives, custard apples, avocados, grape vines, almonds and olives and many other Mediterranean delights. It’s not surprising that this area is known as “Valley of Happiness” Here agriculture and farming remain the principal occupation and life goes on at a quiet and simple pace. It is also well known for its walks, bird life and amazing spring colours.

What do guests say about this villa?

A little corner of paradise. Simply a haven of peace, all modern comforts with a neat decoration. If the photos of the site are beautiful and well know that the reality is even better. When it comes to the environment, everything is there, the calm, the walks in the orchards coming out of the house, the small and calm streets of the village, and if you want animation, the city of Granada is less than 30 minutes by car. But finally one feels so good that it becomes hard to leave the house. We disconnect, we restet, we felt good. Concerning reception, Ingo is just ultra responsive, gives good address and will try to do everything possible to ensure that your stay is at its best. In short go there with your eyes closed, happiness in perspective.

More about this region

Lecrín Valley

This region is halfway between Granada city and Las Alpujarras—a superb location for Granada sightseeing, skiing and the beach combined with a pleasant semi-tropical climate. The Lecrín Valley played an important part in the Moorish kingdom of Granada and this region is rich with historical references to it. Most of the villages of the Lecrín Valley are on the banks of the Béznar Lake and there are many clearly marked hiking trails incorporating these little towns en route.
